Illinois Nature Fund

Supporting Restoration, Conservation, Research & Education for the Betterment of Illinois' Natural Environment

The purpose of our not-for-profit organization is simple: to raise monetary and material support for projects and programs, being conducted by governmental and non-profit organizations, which directly address issues pertaining to the natural health of the State of Illinois. These projects may include specific preservation or restoration tasks, or more general research related to a better understanding of the ecosystems within our state, or educational projects focused on making our leaders and fellow citizens more aware of the natural environment and the challenges it faces.

Our commitment is also simple: every penny we raise will always go to the projects we support. We operate with "zero overhead" through the support of our volunteer board and staff; operating costs are intentionally kept minimal, and they are covered by our volunteers.

This website is hosted on the servers of our friends at the Illinois Coalition for Responsible Outdoor Lighting; our thanks to them for their support in keeping our operating costs down.
